We all have different experiences regarding those moments when someone said or did something that changed our lives for the good. Many times they had no idea of the profound affect their word or actions had on us.
I probably wouldn't be on a musician today if it hadn't been for an English teacher named Doret who I had in college who one time said to me, "Mark, you're talented at a lot of things. I'll bet you could even do music."
That one sentence is the spark that set off the chain of events that lead to where I am at this moment. She passed away years ago but the affects of that one sentence live on. She also made me realize the power of words in changing lives. I try to be very careful when I speak into the lives of others. Anybody can be an inspirational hero if they strive to always speak life, like Jesus.

I agree. I am grateful that the Lord has sent me the woman of God that my wife is. She is a constant source of encouraging words. This encouragement has a great deal to do with where I am in life and in my walk with the Lord today.

Bible commands the believers to encourage one another. My husband Walter is a great encourager and prayer partner. We pray together very often, but I came to the point of deep maturity of my life with the ChristEven if nobody encourages me I encourage my self in the Lord.
